Norstrom are able to offer two methods for carrying out Weigh Checks.

'Dead Weight' Method

This method involves the use of calibrated 20kg iron bar weights which are traceable back to local trading standards. All dead weight engineers carry 500kgs of weights together with all necessary loading cradles. 'Pull Down' Method In view of the changing manual handling regulations we have developed the Norstrom.

'Pull Down' method

This involves the use of 2 calibrated Loadcells, which are traceable back to a Namas approved laboratory. The Loadcells are used in conjunction with a couple of hydraulic rams and enable checks to be carried out up to 5000kgs without the addition of any materials.
